Year 3

We are very much looking forward to welcoming your children into Year 3 and beginning their journey through Key Stage 2 as newly minted juniors. It’s an exciting stage of their school life and we can’t wait to support them as they grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity throughout the year.

Shortly after starting Year 3, we will be heading to Butser Ancient Farm, where the children will love learning about life in prehistoric Britain through hands-on experiences and engaging activities.

Our learning will continue to be enriched by many memorable moments, culminating in a special Year 3 camp out on the school field. The children will enjoy rounders games, songs around the campfire, and plenty of fun as they build the skills and confidence they’ll take with them into their first residential trip in Year 4.

We’re excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to work closely with both you and your children.
