Ethos: Vision and Values
At Charles Kingsley’s Church of England Primary School, our ethos is rooted in the belief that every child is a unique and important individual, created by God and deserving of the very best opportunities to grow, flourish and succeed. Our Christian foundation guides all that we do, shaping a school community where everyone is valued, nurtured and inspired.
Our Vision:
We believe in providing quality education for all which is supported by our core Christian values of love, courage and hope. Our aim is to give each child a firm foundation so that they grow to positively impact our world and live life in all its fullness.
This vision reflects our commitment to enabling every child to become the very best version of themselves - academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially. We seek to open doors, broaden horizons and equip our pupils with the skills, compassion and confidence they need to contribute positively to the world around them.
Our Values:
Our school values of Love, Courage and Hope underpin everything we do at Charles Kingsley’s. They shape the way we learn, the way we treat one another, and the way we approach the future.
- Love reminds us to show kindness, respect and compassion, following the example of Jesus’ teaching.
- Courage inspires us to be resilient, to persevere and to make wise choices- even when they are difficult.
- Hope encourages us to look forward with confidence, believing in our potential and trusting that positive change is always possible.
These values are woven throughout our curriculum, our relationships and our collective worship. They help us to create a community where children feel safe, confident and empowered to grow.
